Mission Statement Orem Community Church
Orem Community Chuch is the first Protestant church to be founded in Orem. The meeting that led to the church‘s establishment took place on April 1,1951. The first Sunday worship services were held at various locations, which included the Orem Veterans Memorial Building and Geneva Elementary School.

The parsonage was built during the tenure of the first full-time pastor, the Reverend Verne A. Robinson, who came to the church on June 1, 1956. Worship services were held in the house until the sanctuary was built. On November 29, 1959 the sanctuary was dedicated at 130 North 400 East.

Since then, OCC has been a living part of the body of Christian belivers, providing spiritual support and growth opportunities for hundreds of Christians in Utah Valley. Perhaps our most famous community event, the Living Nativity, is our annual Christmas gift to our neighbors.
